With love from Austin!!

Besos y Abrazos!

Aunt Amy + (uncle) Jed

Farewells from A to Z...

As a final farewell to Aaron before he gets mailed back up North, Aunt Amy and teammate Katie took him out on an epic bike ride...

The wildflowers were in full bloom! How beautiful!!

As the sun was setting, the legs of the two ladies turning to get young Aaron home in time for dinner, we stumbled upon a Zebra!

It was getting awfully late and the road WAS kinda bumpy so the view was a little blocked :)

Oh, but it was a wonderful time...

from Austin to Zebra, Aaron will remember this trip

BFF (Best friends forever)

Even though the first meeting was dangerous at first, Prancy and Aaron have become the best of friends...
"I will miss you when you go home, Aaron" -Prancy

Hiking at Laguna Gloria

We took many great walks and hikes while in Austin. On one such day, Prancy, Aaron, Grandma Evelyn, and Aunt Amy took off for Laguna Gloria.

The site has a Italian style villa built in the early 1900s (that's WAY older than G'ma!) and is set on a cove of the lake. There's lots of trails and we were lucky enough to get close to some of the peacocks that live on the property!!!

Watch out Aaron!!

One of the Perks...

The great thing about biking all the time with Aunt Amy is that lil' Aaron gets to eat like a king all the time...

Here's Aaron enjoying Austin's favorite breakfast dish: Migas...a mexican standard made of eggs, tortillas, and chilis...

Race Day with Auntie!

Being flat does have its drawbacks sometimes...

You can't fit into the latest fitted trouser pants...
When you've eaten too much, you really can't hide it...
When you ask your friend, "does this shirt make me look fat?" The only answer would be "yes"

Yes, being super slim does have its disadvantages.

But if Aaron weren't so slim there is NO WAY he could've scored an excellent seat in a weekly bike race with Aunt Amy...

Each week, Aunt Amy and Aaron rode out to the race course. This particular week was a rainy mess, very scary for all of us! Aaron stayed dry and safe tucked into Amy's back jersey pocket...

A chance meeting w/Grandma!

Today Aunt Amy and Aaron went to visit Grandma Evelyn at her office. She works in a church and has a window that looks out onto a big bird cage.

In this very same visit, Aaron was stunned to meet and get a blessing from the Pope!
(just kidding, it's a photo on G'mas wall)
